If you are looking for your typical Chinese food in US, don't expect to find it here. The menu is different than normal Chinese food. They seems to specialized in Xi'an Chinese food. I have never had Xi'an food before, so it is an experience for me. Is it authentic? I don't know since I have never been there, but it feels authentic for me. The food tend to be oily, but it seems like that is the type of food you get at Xi'an. It is not oily in the fried with oils, but the noodle is drench with chili oils. The place is also clean and nicely decorated, not your typical Chinese restaurant. The owner stopped by our table before taking the order and explained the history with Xi'an food. My wife and I were the only customers there for lunch on Friday. I really wish they can survive. I love that they take a risk and put a different type of restaurant in the area, something you don't find in the area. We will eventually make a trip back.
